Northcote Baptist Church
The church sought to replace the existing carpet throughout the auditorium and foyer areas and appointed us to prepare the worn substrate and install new Jacobsen carpet tiles. The result is a refreshed, vibrant finish that enhances both the appearance and functionality of the space.
What we did
We uplifted and disposed of the existing direct-stick carpet throughout the church foyer and auditorium.
We prepared the substrate by grinding, applying floor levelling compound to rectify uneven surfaces, and removing all residual debris to ensure the surface was clean, sound, level, smooth, and dry prior to installation.
We supplied and installed new Jacobsen Shaw Grounded Spaces Presence commercial carpet tiles in the colour “Presence Leather” throughout the same areas, in accordance with AS/NZS 2455.2:2007 New Zealand Flooring Standards.
At the foyer entrance, we supplied and installed new Jacobsen Welcome II commercial entry carpet tiles, also in accordance with AS/NZS 2455.2:2007 New Zealand Flooring Standards, providing a durable and welcoming transition into the space.
