Cordis Auckland engaged us to refresh The Great Room, enhancing the magnificent multi-purpose venue accommodating up to 860 guests and supporting its seamless reconfiguration for more intimate gatherings or boardroom meetings. At the client’s request, we also installed new carpet throughout the adjoining common areas and foyers, delivering a cohesive and refined finish across this premium hospitality environment.

What we did

We uplifted and disposed of the existing double bond carpet throughout the specified areas as outlined in Annex B.

We prepared the substrate by grinding, applying floor levelling compound to rectify uneven surfaces, and removing all residual debris to ensure the surface was clean, sound, level, smooth, and dry.

We supplied and installed new Dunlop Doublebond 9 luxury commercial underlay throughout the same areas in accordance with AS/NZS 2455.2:2007 New Zealand Flooring Standards.

We installed new carpet supplied by the client, including the border detail, throughout the specified areas in accordance with AS/NZS 2455.2:2007 New Zealand Flooring Standards.

We also supplied and installed new transition bars as required.
